Quizar (Abiraterone Acetate) is indicated for the treatment of:

Metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC)

Metastatic high-risk castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC)

Abiraterone is a selective inhibitor of CYP17 (17α-hydroxylase/C17,20-lyase), an enzyme crucial for androgen biosynthesis.

Dosage & Administration:

Recommended total daily dose: 1,000 mg Abiraterone Acetate, given as multiple tablets of 26.5 mg.

Must be taken on an empty stomach (no food 2 hours before and 1 hour after).
