🔬 Mechanism of Action
Lenvatinib inhibits various RTKs, including:
Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptors (VEGFR1–3)
Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptors (FGFR1–4)
Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptor Alpha (PDGFRα)
KIT and RET
By blocking these receptors, Lenvatinib impedes tumor vascularization and proliferation, thereby slowing cancer progression.
💊 Indications
Lenvaxen 4 mg is prescribed for:
Differentiated Thyroid Cancer (DTC): For patients with locally recurrent or metastatic, progressive, radioactive iodine-refractory DTC.
Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC): In combination with Everolimus for advanced RCC following one prior anti-angiogenic therapy.
Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC): As a first-line treatment for unresectable HCC.
Endometrial Carcinoma: In combination with Pembrolizumab for advanced endometrial carcinoma that is not microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) or mismatch repair deficient (dMMR), following prior systemic therapy.

Contraindications:
Precautions:
Regular monitoring of blood pressure, liver function, and proteinuria is advised.
Dose adjustments may be necessary for patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
Use effective contraception during treatment and for at least 30 days after the last dose.
📌 Administration Guidelines
Dosage:
DTC: 24 mg orally once daily.
RCC: 18 mg orally once daily in combination with 5 mg Everolimus.
HCC: Based on body weight—12 mg for patients ≥60 kg; 8 mg for patients <60 kg.
Endometrial Carcinoma: 20 mg orally once daily in combination with Pembrolizumab 200 mg intravenously every 3 weeks.
Administration:
Take at the same time each day, with or without food.
If a dose is missed and cannot be taken within 12 hours, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time.
