Indications:
Eudaxen (Diazoxide) is primarily indicated for:

Management of Hypoglycemia due to hyperinsulinism (such as in insulinoma or congenital hyperinsulinism).

Hypertensive Crisis (in specific acute cases as an emergency antihypertensive agent, though less commonly used now for this purpose).
Pharmacology:
Diazoxide is a potassium channel opener that acts by:

Inhibiting insulin release from the pancreas, making it effective for hypoglycemia due to excessive insulin production.

Relaxing vascular smooth muscles, producing vasodilation and reducing blood pressure in emergency cases.
It does not lower blood sugar directly, but instead limits the insulin-mediated glucose drop.
Dosage & Administration:
