📌 Indications:

Crizonix (Crizotinib) is indicated for the treatment of:

• Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) that is ALK-positive or ROS1-positive

• Advanced or metastatic NSCLC in patients whose tumors are driven by ALK or ROS1 genetic rearrangements

💊 Pharmacology:

Crizotinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) targeting:

• ALK (Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase)

• ROS1 (c-ros oncogene 1)

• MET (Hepatocyte Growth Factor Receptor)

By blocking these kinases, Crizonix inhibits cancer cell growth, proliferation, and survival, particularly in tumors driven by ALK or ROS1 rearrangements.

💉 Dosage & Administration:

• Recommended adult dose: 250 mg orally twice daily with or without food

• Continue until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity

• Swallow capsules whole, do not crush or chew

• Dose adjustments may be needed for toxicity or organ impairment

⚠️ Precautions & Warnings:

• Monitor for hepatotoxicity (liver enzyme elevation)

• Risk of QT interval prolongation – ECG monitoring recommended

• May cause bradycardia

• Risk of interstitial lung disease (ILD) / pneumonitis

• Avoid use with strong CYP3A inducers/inhibitors
