Axinix (Axitinib) is indicated for the treatment of:
π Pharmacology:
Axitinib is a potent and selective second-generation inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR-1, 2, and 3). It blocks the angiogenesis process by preventing blood supply to cancer cells, ultimately restricting tumor growth and metastasis.
π Dosage & Administration:

Starting Dose: 5 mg orally twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart.

Can be taken with or without food.

Dose adjustment may be necessary based on tolerability and side effects.

Monitor for hypertension, thyroid dysfunction, arterial/venous thromboembolic events, and gastrointestinal perforation.
