📌 Indications:
Alecnix (Alectinib) 150 mg is indicated for the treatment of patients with anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is used both as:
💊 Pharmacology:
Alectinib is a selective ALK inhibitor that blocks the ALK fusion gene responsible for driving cancer cell growth in ALK-positive NSCLC. It inhibits tumor proliferation and survival by disrupting ALK-mediated signaling pathways. Alectinib is also active in the central nervous system (CNS) and is effective in treating brain metastases—a common complication in ALK-positive NSCLC.
🔄 Dosage & Administration:

Recommended Dose: 600 mg (i.e., 4 capsules of 150 mg) twice daily with food.

Continue until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.
